Hei
Hi i am new to this web i hope i can get some help from you guys i have a 1960 chevy with original inline 6 i am wanting to change from point to HEI distributor can any of you send me in the rigth direction i did this to my 1970 chevy with 383 stroker but i am not aware of nay shop that has a HEI distributor for my 60 that includes the shop that did my 383 any help/leads from any one will be greatly appreciated thx and stay safe on the roadmine is bigger than urs

Get an electronic ignition conversion for your 6-banger. Petronix or the like. There isn't a factory setup that will work. The stovebolt was history years before HEI came along, and the newer 6 cylinder distributors won't fit.
I've used the conversions on several engines, and they work perfect.

you say to get a conversion is there a site where i can get it from or will a diffrent race shop carry this conversionmine is bigger than urs
