subframing
In describing the subframe in my 1940 Packard, I neglected to mention that the steering box on the present subframe is right up against the back of the front sheetmetal, so if the subframe were any longer, the steering box would not have enough room. Thanks Scruffybeast

For sure!! I recall Jim's torsion bar suspension on at least one of his builds, but I'm not sure which one! Maybe the Track T?? He's a talented builder.
