Door wiring
Anybody seen a setup for running wiring into the doors that was made up of a spring with collars on each end. The spring with wiring run through it would go in and out of the door as you open and close it? I found them online, did not save the page now I can't find them again.

Radder,
You can make your own realy easily. just use tubing of your choice, put a slight curve in it to match the curve of the door, and attatch with whatever you can find. I've put threads into a couple and used nuts to secure them to the door.
Only secure on one side (this should be self explanitory). I chose the door to secure to when I did it. We also put a plastic slide on the jam so the conduit didn't get scratched up when going in and out.
I'll check my catalogs to see if I can find the kit for it, but it's more fun to say you built it yourself

A1 electric also has them but they don't use a spring they use s/s braided hose they run about $45 a set........ the springs are alot more flexible

I've used oil pressure tube and it works great.
This tube is stiff enough to to be pushed into the door post when the door shuts, but yet soft enough to bend enough and without resistance when the door open:
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
