    Smile 1950 chevy truck

I have a 1950 Chevy truck, I'm wondering if I can use a current Chevy S-10 frame to mound my body and cab on to. I want kto know any idea on how much modification I would need to do and what year model that I should use. If anyone has any sugestions or better ideas please let me know.

    Thanks

It's almost a bolt on - I've done a few of these, and they make a sweet ride.
Make sure that you get the right donor frame (they made 3 different ones) the full size bed one should be the right one.
You can get a 350 conversion kit for the S-10 & do a mock up before you weld on the new cab mounts..
    Good Luck...

hambiskit is right. it is a near perfect fit. I am using a 83' S10 frame for my 51' truck. I used a longbed frame. Mocked up the motor BEFORE I mounted the cab. I got the V8 conversion kit from Heddman should be nice once she is done. I have a post in the HotRod forum on this site, take a look.
