I am thinking about turning my 49 desoto into a roadster, but i'm worried about the body warping when i remove the top.I'm not sure how to reinforce it enough to keep it solid. It is a 4 door sedan, and I would weld shut the rear doors, but what would be the simplest way to strengthen the overall structure of the car. I could weld tubing diagonally behind the back seat, and possibly even between the cut off B-pillars behind the front seat, but that doesnt seem adequate to me. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks.

Hmmm, that sound interesting. I think I am going to have to find a pic and photoshop that.
