    Question frames????

Just got a project 37 chevy 5 window coupe. I was told that s10 frame would fit under it without much trouble. But i haven't done any measurements yet. Or maybe someonecould tell if any other late model frames might fit under the coupe. thanks

I believe you'll be dissapointed in an S-10 under your 37. S-10 fits better under fat fendered cars and trucks (46-52). If you want, go to my website and look at the pics of the S-10 frame swap I'm doing. It'll give you dimensions and a better idea of what to do if you still want the swap.

If you have a original frame use it and upgrade the suspension and you will be happier as I know of a few that have taken the S10 frames out and replaced with upgraded originals and liked the results. All you will end up is a 37 that rides like a truck if you do it. Jeff

If you do decide to go with the original frame, I would suggest boxing the frame rails, it would provide for a lot more strength and control. A lot of added safety too.
