    Mustang II suspension/oil pan clearance

Hello. I just ordered a Heidts mustangII kit for my wifes 64 falcon. I am running an '85 302 w/C4. Do I need a rear sump oil pan to clear the crossmember? If so what is recommended? Thanks.

    oil pan

the mustang magazines have showed the sus swap into a mustang , a lot of the falcon parts were used to make the 64 mustang i din't know if you will have interference but the early bronco 289 302 used a true rear sump oil pan. you will also need the matching oil pump-pick up tube and boltsR . THE 5.0 Mustang had a double hump oil pan that doesn't give ypou as much clearance..Ford Performance has has conversion pans listed in the catalogs a couple of years ago.

Thanks. I bought a truck pan off of EBAY. I will buy a pickup from NAPA.
