Needs some help building braided PS lines.
Hey guys I need to build 2 power steering lines for my 71 Corvette. I installed a Hydroboost unit to replace the vacuum power booster. I have never built braided lines and AN fittings before and am confused by all the different choices.
1. can I use regular braided lines from Russel, Aeroquip etc, or do I need special ones.
2. What type of fittings? Are the blue and red ones ok?
3. I need to use a reducer on my steering cylinder. It looks to be a #4 size and the lines are #6. Can I do this?
Thanks for the help.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
