    sheet metal

     



    hi all, does anyone know what gauge sheet metal is on a 79 nova? im replacing some rusted out spots on it.......

    Don't specifically know about this particular car, but generally, 18 gauge is good for this, but if you have alot of contours to shape, you might want to go to 20 gauge. (easier to shape)

    all my metal work i do in 18 gauge by the time you form it weld it sand it it will be 20 gauge
