Which water pump?
I am rebuilding the 350 that came in my '66 Chevelle. It is out of a 1975 Malibu. I am putting on a factory TPI unit from a 1986 Camaro along with a factory serpentine system from a 1993 4.3L V-6. I have already test fit everything and it all bolts right up. I will be running an electric fan(s). My question is, which water pump can I use to allow me to do this and hook up my heater hoses to my factory heater? I need a water pump that turns the other way due to the serpentine system, or so I have been told. I have heard 1991 Camaro and 1988 Chevy pickup will work but I'm not sure. Which water pumps still have the heater hose nipples and turn the other way?
Thanks!Brian H. Bridwell

Edelbrock and Stewart make some of the best quality water pumps. I would give either one of them a call and speak with one of their technicicans. They will be able to direct you to the appropriate pump.

I tried rubber isolators between the frame and pump, but it made little difference. I don't mind spinning the motor over to refill the carb(s), it allows time to build oil pressure, jmho..
