    Air Ride Suspension?

This has been talked about a lot in the past but there is new air bag systems out now since last time plus my question is JUST about my 48 Chevy. I got me a new job working at a hot rod shop so I am getting more money comming in and putting it away to start this Chevy FINALLY!!! I am going to start on it next weekend by sanding and fixing the small little parts and putting them in boxes, etc but need to figure out a wheel and suspension combo. I am going to have a certain year look to it like a 60's kind of build maybe but with the modern drive train and chassis. Anyways, what kind of air ride would you guys suggest? I am looking at Air Ride Tech's tank kit with the electronic touch pad box and all with the hoses, etc but what about for the bags themselves.... I want to eliminate the leaf springs and put on the 4 link set up too. I am trying to stay under the 2600 dollar mark IF POSSIBLE. I will be putting in a plain 350 or 383 stroker motor. Nothing major like a big block like I used to want to do.
Thanks a lot for any help here guys!!!

air ride tech. is the only system to use , the system is called a ride-pro e , i am a dealer for them . if you are using a mustang 2 front and a tringulated 4 link rear that is the best way to go . you need a ride-pro e list is about 1100.00
front coolride with bags is about 600.00 rear 4 link in plain steel is about 500.00 then all you need is rear bags i would use f9000 rear they are about 90 each ,these prices are about list i dont have my book here to get you the exact price , but email me and we can price it out .
yes i drove ,the trailer didnot drive it's self

I've played with a few electronically controlled units, but never the theirs.. seem to be neat.. I think when I do mine though i'm just going to get buttons of some sort.. cheaper and cleaner looking if you ask me.. plus I like the idea of having 4 air guages in my console for some reason.. and the e-ride tells you each bag pressure on the controller, for some reason I dont' like that. just me though..

but as for buying stuff it's either suicidedoors.com or air ride tech, it's the only 2 i'll mess with... Suicide is much cheaper and bars are beefier, but you'll probably have to give them measurements for what you want. Their stuff will be much heavier than what you need.. I've got both a air-ride-tech kit here and a few that just got here that are getting suicide's kits. you'll be good either way, just depends what you want and how much you want to spend... The air-ride kit i'm doing is stainless that's why we went with them on the one kit.. Just more money..

So which are you saying is cheaper Suicide or Air Ride? The guys at Suicidedoors are really cool. I told one of them I want to do my 48 and he said he will be glad to help me with whatever I need and to get him measurements on the car and how much it will weigh....

I would say suicide will be cheaper. They seem to do better with prices... I've just had really good luck dealing with them is all.. I've seen where things were measured wrong by the owner, and i've seen them still do a free xchange.
