Hello Everyone, Can powder coating be applied over stainless steel, aluminum &/or chrome??? Now I guess chrome can be sand blasted off if it can't be applied over it, right??? ThanksBill

Shouldn't be a problem on aluminum.
Stainless steel either.
I've been running a couple of aluminum intake manifolds - one for about 12 years - that are powder coated black.
They still look good.
Same deal with some interior aluminum parts I made and had powdered black.
Pat's advice about hitting the chrome with 320 gritshould work fine.
Better yet may be taking the piece to a chrome tank and having it stripped.
Costs should be minimal since there's no polishing or other chrome plating preparatory work to be done.C9

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
