Question on a Ford 9" rear

I am using a 350 torbo and have the driveshaft cut to length from the tranny and need to go to a Ford 9"
I was told that there is a U joint that will match the driveshaft to a 9".
The problem is I dont have the car here it is at the paint shop and the rear is covered. Does anyone know the size of the U joint on the rear?

    Thanks

haven't bought one in awhile, but back in the day NAPA's people knew what you needed if you ask for the u joint that would fit a chev. and a ford. little cup, big cup.

Call Dennys Drivelines (look on the web)

There is a cross over u joint that has Ford bearings on two sides, and Chevy on the other.

I'm like lt1s10, I can't remember the part number, but there is one for sure.

Thanks I got one today at Advanced....they said that the 9" takes the big cup.? Is this true...... the reason I ask is becuse the driveshaft did as well.
I have the drive shaft and it fit but the rear is over an hour away at the paint shop.
    Thanks again

if you need the big cup, small cup joint, then you have the wrong one. the big end goes to the ford 9'', and the little end goes to he chevy. drive. shaft. you need to waite untill you get your rear back.
