locking 10 bolt
i need to lock up my 10 bolt in my camaro, my buddy keeps telling me its limited slip but i dont believe him. ive been told i can just weld up the spider gears and it acts as a locker. are there anyother ways?

Welding up the spiders is not a good idea for the street!!! A posi unit would be the best way to go. Pull the rear end cover off of yours and see for sure what it is.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Maybe I am wrong ...would not be the first time, but I have always thought if you jack the back off the ground and spin one wheel, if the other wheel spins in the same direction it is a locker. If it spins in the opposite direction it is an open wheeler.

thanks guys i found a limited slip unit for pretty cheap on jegs.com
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
