Air in a 54 chevy PU

I am trying to install air in a 54 chevy PU and would like any ideas on where to route the a/c hoses and heater hoses through the cowl. Trying to place the air unit as close to the right side as I can.
    Anybody done this and how?

Ifyou want to hide the hoses run them on the tire side of the inner federpanel & then in thru the side of the cowl.

Thanks! I had wondered about going out the side of the cowl. That would help as I have little space to turn hoses.
