My project 33 ford
I see lots of people post their projects so I thought i would do the same. Ive been working on my car for 5 years. I just got it running and driving. Its all steel and it has fenders(looks like a hiboy right now) just not on it right now. Im going to drive it around a bit in primer to work out the bugs, since this is my first hot rod. Everything is going good on it =) and BTW im 22 years old!
im also looking for the door post door tins.

Looks like it's a lowboy to me, I don't see the body sitting ontop the frame. lowboy means it's channeled over the frame, hiboy, sits ontop. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Nice project.
Matt, you can't be TOO literal about the definitions. That's how a Model 40 sits on the rails without the fenders and running boards. Channelled, to make it a true lowboy, would completely hide the rails and then some on these.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

The color of the car is the color of the frame which is Sinfull Cinnamon. The chassis is finished and all i lack is body work on the body and fenders but i hate doing bodywork and decided to drive it around in primer for a bit. It has a small block chevy in it with a 700r4. Im trying to keep it some what original looking, wheels and hood is all that you can see thats not original. Oh i also filled the cowl vent. It was a very rough body when I got it. I had to put a new floor, subrails, and several patch panels through out it.
Oh and thats how 33-34 bodys sit on the frame originally matt167.
Someone already criticized me calling it a check rod?

Anyone criticizing the fitment of the body to the frame should be required to show you something that looks better!!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
