    Lockers....

anyone have any experience with these?

i am thinking about getting one.

    Powertrax Lock-Right Lockers

The Powertrax Lock-Right and Performance Lockers' straight-line performance is equal to a solid spool axle, yet automatically unlocks to allow full differentiation in turns. The lockers also reduce the excessive noise, tire wear, and drivetrain damage associated with other lockers. Made in the U.S.A., Powertrax lockers replace the spider gears in your differential carrier without affecting your ring and pinion settings. The whole job can be done in your driveway with common hand tools in a couple of hours. A carrier is not included.

Yup, in a light car like yours IMO it would be an excellent choice. It might give a little chatter on cornering till it wears in a bit, but other then that they're a great unit.!!!!! Usually with a bit of shopping you can find a decent price on them. too.

    lockers

Hi Y'all, this is my first post here so bear with. I had two of these in my Samurai back when. Even though it was pretty light, they made a fair amount of noise and were "interesting" in every corner. On the 1-2 shift we usually tried to change lanes, but they were awesome when it came to doing what they were designed for. I'm in Durham coincidentally.
