    Inspiration from Abe, dashboard.

So Abe, or anyone else who wants to play, here's a dashboard that's covered in a vinyl material. It might look a bit like grass cloth, but was actually intended to look like another natural material. It's not really that hard to find, but a fun item anyway. What are it??

I can't say it b/c sadly I'm the "inspiration" for this topic. It looks much worse that that engine turned dash though.

Looks kind of like a bamboo blind wrapped around the dash...

Good eye sweet, now, we still need to name that car!! Here's a clue. It's a post WWII car.

Pretty darn close enjenjo. The '53 Dragon was a "top of the line" car, not very many produced. If you look at the trim panel on the driver door, you'll note the same material as on the dash. This would designate the car pictured as a Manhattan, the mid-line trim package. The trim panels on the Dragon doors had a large "scale like" pattern, presumably related to the Dragon name and the scales on a dragon's skin. Hoist a brew in your honor for getting the manufacturer correct!
