Cleaning under your rod
Is there anything good to spray under your car on the rear end, springs, tie rods, etc that will just run off and clean at the same time? Thanks!Go Hokies!!!!!! ACC CHAMPS '04,'07,'08

Brake clean will work but is expensive, and you still have to use soap and water afer wards. Ware safety glasses and a shield. May I ask why you want to clean these parts.Charlie

Just drive it to a shop and have them steam clean the underside. They'll use low pressure so as not to remove the paint.52 Ford F-1, 327 Chevy, S-10 frame

You can also get a rattle can of engine degreaser at your local auto parts store. It is water soluble so it washes off and takes the grease and oil with it. That's what I use.

Don't use brake cleaner on powdered or painted surfaces.
It will damage them in short order . . . been there, done that....C9
