    Sumo compressor

I just rebuilt my air compressor pump and bought a new 5 horse 220v motor.

This thing is so much QUIETER!!!

I can actually work now in peace...well at least I can hear my radio.

Like any of this matters, but I had to tell someone and my wife couldn't care less.

Sumo compressor.HUH ??...Hey you could go out to your shop and have a wrestling match before going to work... Wrestling a Sumo compressor must be pretty easy since he doesn't have any arms!!! ...My Ingersol Rand was made in 1952 with a 5HP 220V motor... The old two stage compressor has never failed me in the thirty years we have known each other..I change the oil every year and drain the water from the tank regularly..The last shop I worked at bought an Italian made with aluminum case..It blew more oil than it made air...Cast iron is the only way to go...
The cylinders have to be inline.!!!
