    Aaaauuuugggghhhh!!!!

I just became disgusted with myself.

Not following MY OWN safety rules, I was sitting on my trunk lid with my feet in the back seat (rear window out for rust repair) and got a damned hot piece of metal down my sneaker.

I normally wear long pants and combat boots, but I was trying to get some work done while the missus was away.

More bad news...I continued welding, thinking I could ignore it, got in a hurry and botched the job.

Now to grind it out and start again...

Yeah...glad my wife wasn't here because I would NEVER live that down.

I did the "something hot in my shoe dance" after falling face-first trying to get off the car without grabbing the hot edge I had just welded.

One sock...$0.97, one coffee mug...$2.50, hearing your wife rib you about it forever...priceless.
