Hi Denny
can't hear the blower relay click , ac system is charged and works ok when on the road, looses efficency at idle and slow speed (to be expected) i have testing capabilites (light and meter) and the system is not a climated control system (looks to be just a standard control panel)

I don't have the wiring diagram for 82 but I have one for the 83 wich should be very similar...... Find the red wire coming from the blower relay this wire should have 12 volts and I bet it doesn't, follow it back along top center of the firewall and you will find a football shaped holder, thats the high speed fuse, if you can seperate the holder just replace the fuse but my experiance has been the holder is all melted together and if this is the case simply cut the old holder out and "Solder" a new one in..... be aware that my 83 diagram says that wire is on a fusible link but all them old G.M.'s had a fuse holder far as I can remember.....

6Have you actually lost high speed or does it not seem to go faster when you put it on max? If this is the case, you have a vacumm problem. very common on 77-84. The vac switch behind the heater control on the dash is bad.theres no foo like an old foo
