    disc brake setup...

I'll be installing factory discs on my 64 chevelle soon. They are the single piston type off 68-72 cars. Car will be front disc, rear drum. Question about the master cylinder and lines:

What type of master should i use with a manual brake setup? Also, is it possible to route the front line into a splitter than into the calipers, and the back line into an adjustable proportioning valve then to the rear brakes??

Any info, experience, tips, warnings will be greatly appreciated!!

you should find a mc at any auto parts store. you need to find manual mc that is disc/drum. I think the proportioning vale has 2 hole 1 for the passenger side front and the other for driver side. I will have to look and get back to you
