    machine shop prices

    HI,
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me about an average cost machine shop services on just a mild rebuild engine. Im not saying for them building it but just to clean it up and prep it for building.

    thanx

I just had my block hot tanked, bored .040 over, the bearings pressed in, and the new pistons pressed onto the new rods, and it cost me $500.
