Grand Am problem
OK I don't pick peoples brains unless I have to so I'm hoping this will be easy and painless. My son has a 92 Grand Am automatic 3300 (V6) Every thing works fine he just drove it back here (MI) from K.C MO. This am on his way to work while at a stop sign ( He doesn't hot rod any car) as he was stoping the car shock and died. It restarted right away he put it in gear and it died again. Well after 4 or 5 trys it gets going and acts like its going to die again. He told me this when he got home. It hadn't happened the rest of the day. I took it to town for some parts and It acted just like he said. To be honest it feels like its trying to go into forward and reverse at the same time. While he was at school he had the trans flushed which I think is a FARSE but thats what he had done. What ever the problem is its not in the engine. Once you get going it acts fine and dosen't do this all the time. My thoughts dirt in the valve body AmI heading in the right direction??? Or is there a bulleton on this out there some where?? I'm for pulling the trans pan for a look see but figured I'd ask first, Thanks

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
