Have you looked into loans or other types of assistance to help you afford the education you are looking for? The best investment you can make in your future is to get the best education you can. There are plenty of programs designed to help anyone/everyone get an education. If Wyotech is the place you want to go to learn the trade, give them a call and talk with a guidence counceler who can help you figure out how to get the education you want.

You have a part of the country you prefer...........otherwise that's a pretty tall order.

If you intend to be in the rod and custom business, you will need to be close to a large population center. I lived in a Midwestern town of 300 people when I decided I would eventually "do what I do" full time. Now, 30 years later, I'm in a city of almost a million, and still feel the effect when the economy slows down.

If you are close to family, don't get too far away. You may regret it later.

I take it Wyotech doesn't have any courses in english or grammar. You'd best brush up a bit,or have someone else do your resume.First impressions mean a lot. Hank

    tim bo16,
Seems like you need a friend like GBrowne.
I'm guessing YOU just burned all your bridges here....
    Why so angry? Grow up.
best luck with the grammar and attitude.

You guys are the lucky ones,.. learn from T.V...( see Donald Trump )

back in the day they were called: Apprentices ,,,,
:A noun, A person learning a trade from a skilled employer is an apprentice.; having agreeded to work for low wages for a fixed period of time ( years )
usually a dedicated apprentice would almost work for free to work along side the master:
but that was in the day,.. as they say...

yes me to have been looking for 20 +years. the ones that makes all the money is wyotech .i have learned from doing .i have a small hp shop here in a small town and there is not to many things i can not do. but things are slow . look at ebay. machine shops and hp shops are not doing that hot. right now they are selling off all there tools . so good luck finding a job. i would think wyoteck would help place you? i really do not know what to think of wyoteck ? i would say the first thing i would do is look at where you work before and what you did. like cutting down a rear end or setting one up? how many you did not at school. can you work good with your hands ? i do not think they can teach you that there. before i turned someone loose on my customers stuff. on the spelling i would not give a damn on that. but if you crash my mill or lathe you would feel my boot on your back side .
