finding a tiny fuel leak
I have a question that i hope someone can help me with. I have a 5.ol fuel injected ford engine, and it has a full -an fuel line setup, with external regulator. The car has developed a tiny fuel leak, evidenced by the odor of gasoline around the car, but i cannot pinpoint the leak. Is there any method i can use to find this tiny leak? it seems to be just fumes, there are no drips anywhere, or evidence of a leak, but i smell it. I have inspected the lines, connections, and injectors with a flashlight, cant find any leak. i have gone from front to rear using my nose, but after awhile, once you have that smell in your nose, its hard to tell if it gets worse in certain areas. Anyone?

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
