I'll be installing factory discs on my 64 chevelle soon. They are the single piston type off 68-72 cars. Car will be front disc, rear drum. Question about the master cylinder and lines:

What type of master should i use with a manual brake setup? Also, is it possible to route the front line into a splitter than into the calipers, and the back line into an adjustable proportioning valve then to the rear brakes??

Any info, experience, tips, warnings will be greatly appreciated!!
