You didn't say what you're building, but just wondered if you had thought about using a Deuce chassis instead?? They have to be narrowed and shortened to put an A body on, but they sure do look nice.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks Dave, Well I've got a 31 5 window
and its sittin on a boxed Model A frame I'm tired of the Flexi Flier Ride and possesing the equipment thought I'd build a new chassis after checking the prices for a store bought one. Finally found the prints at Wescot last night, WOW what a search that info is not readily available, hats off to Wescot,
And yes the duece chassis is very cool, but I plan to channel the body so ya wouldn't
see the rails anyway. Thanks again .

You might consider making the frame from 2"x5"tubing & extending the frame past the rear axel (per 32 Ford) so you can move the gas tank to the rear.....DonDon Meyer, PhD-Mech Engr(48 GMC Trk/chopped/cab extended/caddy fins & a GM converted Rolls Royce Silver Shadow).
Thanks guys! One more trip around the sun completed. Lots of blessings and things to be thankful for (like still being able to type this message!!) Here's to us "over 70 guys.." Glenn
