    Rear Fenders Rubbing Tires

I have just mounted my rear fenders and they are rubbing my tires. I did't take into account for the buldge in the sidewall of my tires. I need to figure out the easiest and most affordable way to move in about an inch. I would like to keep my 8" inch wheels, all four are the same, so I can rotate them periodically. Will changing tires give me the space that I am looking for?? Or do I nee to change rearend overall width?? Or will changing brakes from drum to disc give me any extra room?? Please help!! Any info in reguards to these questions would be greatly appreciated.

In this case and inch is as good as a mile! An inch per side is a bunch. Depending on how much room you have on the back side (fender well, springs, whatever else is back there) you could either have the rear narrowed or more rear offset on the wheels. Converting to discs usually adds more than it subtracts, probably be even at best. The other choice would be to get a different aspect ratio tire, e.g. 70 bulges less than 60, 75 less than 70, so on, but if you're off by an inch that's not likely going to do it.

narrower rear end or wider fenders???? narrowing the rear probably won't get it done with out a lot of work. wider fenders???? You could maybe make your fenders wider by adding material between the fender and body. I'd say your priety well screwed here. If you have the room changing the back set of your wheels may work but then that will probably give you trouble in the front. Yeah your in trouble
