I just edited my reply to you, because I had 2nd thoughts. At first I said no problem, but after looking at the picture again, I need more info.

Are those coil mounts simply there to mount the coil overs or do some of those brackets shown laying around in the picture somehow tie into them to stabilize and mount the ladder bar to the rear axle? If those protrusions only serve to mount the coilovers, I still think you would cause no harm. But if they are somehow used to mount the entire unit to the housing, that could be a different matter.

Simply cutting the brackets off will not weaken the structure, but I just wanted to be sure they weren't used for more than that in the overall mounting of the bars.
