frame plans
hey,
any input on a good set of frame plans. I am building a 50 buick lowrider. I want it airbagged, and set up for a small block, auto tranny, tubbed rear. Any advice on who would be a good bet for plans, or a frame builder capable of this type of build. Plans for a merc of that era would be good as well.Ryan D. Fielding

Set the Buick up on a few metal sawhorses and drop the frame out from under the body, then you can front clip it, rear clip it, do whatever you want with it. Keep track of the wheelbase and keep it the same as stock, then just hoist the frame back into place and bolt it up. Any part of the sheetmetal that gets in the way when going back in with the frame can be hacked out and sealed with new panels. I know I make it sound too easy, but that's how I'd do it.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
