What problems will I have fitting a sbc and steering wheel
I am almost ready to make the big buy and choose the engine for my 51 Chevy 3 window. I plan on using the original radiator and a trans cooler puller in front.
The front end will be a Mustang II. Steering from someone like Flaming River.
How much trouble will I have fitting all this

My best advice.....Buy a whole donor car to get the motor out of. Take the motor, trans, driveshaft, crossmember, radiator, fan, shroud and core support. Strip the radiator and core support out of your truck. Position the small block in your truck, followed by the stock water pump, fan, shroud, radiator and core support, all from the donor. You'll have to modify the core support to fit it into the truck of course, but this will be the most bulletproof installation you can imagine. Use the outer ends off your stock trans crossmember and the middle part from the donor crossmember. Weld the three pieces together to make a trans crossmember that will bolt to the frame rails of the truck and also accept the donor trans in the middle part of the crossmember. Been there, done that.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
