    ford frame to engine mounts

Are the frame to engine mounts interchnagebale bewteen cars?
Would the frame mounts from a cougar fit a mustang of the same year, say 69?

    I am swapping a 302 or 351w into a mustang that currrently has a I6 motor.
    The car is a 65.
I see that you can purchase motor mounts all day but I never see the frame to motor mounts for sale. So I saw some on ebay and would like to know would they work. The ones from ebay are froma 69 cougar.

    Thanks

Mustang and Cougar mounts should be the same... As long as someone hasn't previously swapped them for something else previously.

Well, there on the same platform, but Cougars were not offered with an I6, so the mounts may be diffrent, as there was no swap out frame mounts needed for I6's in cougars.

OOps, just re read your post... 69 and 65 would not have the same mounts on the frame, the front subframe is different, changeover year for your car would be 65, 66, 67.... The '69 mounts would take some changing, but could be made to work.
