    51 plymouth help

     



    Just purchased a 51 plymouth, i6. Is this not a positive ground 6 volt car ?
    has the 6 volt battery but hooked up negative ground. If positive ground, what has fried, car starts and even runs. thanks for the help. Bob

    Some Plymouth-ite will know for sure, but I think these were negative ground. If it starts and runs, that should be the acid-test I would think.

    As far as I know all mopars with 6 volts were positive ground,my 39 plymouth and 50 chryslers were positive ground. Jeff
