rear end
i cant find my info on this rear end, but when i got my project i got one with it, the info i got said that it is not a good rear end for a rodder because the axle diameter is very small. i took them out and yes they were very small. and by the looks of pictures, it will take some money to bring it back to life,

You're not seriously thinking of using this are you? It would take more to get it in semi-reliable shape than it would cost for a different assembly from a junk yard.....
It has a drop out pumpkin plus a removable cover....a clue to what it is since
you can eliminate quite a few models that dont have both.

It's a GM pickup rear end, possibly out of an Army truck. The closed driveshaft is gone. It's pretty much scrap iron.

The gears are toast, the spiders are toast, the bearings are toast. Three words: Pick & Pull or U Wrench It . . . for another axle.Jack
