not a ford fan right now!
2000 escort. left front brake makes noise when pressure is applied. stops when pedal is released. kind of a loud clicking noise . once per revolution of wheel.Brake calipers?

Brake rotors are warped, very common problem on all makes & models nowdays,
replace the rotors,might as well put in a set of new Ceramic brake pads and dont forget to lube the caliper mount slides......might as well check the rear brakes while your at it...and don't forget to rotate the tires while ya got the wheels off...

Disk brakes have cherpers on them to make noise when its time to have them serviced. Its just a metal tab that hits the rotor when the pad is worn down. No big deal. Just time for a brake job.Charlie

2000...........that's 6 years old. I have heard many Chrysler minivan owners complaining of have to do brakes after only 20,000 miles.
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
