    Model T foot pedals?

What were the three foot pedals for on a model T? The question was asked by a 93 year old who said he had never driven one.

Right pedal is the brake, center is reverse, left is for the two speeds forward plus neutral.

To be a bit more precise, the left pedal halfway down acts like a conventional clutch when the high lever is in forward position, and all the way down is low gear. To stop quick, just slam any two pedals to the floor! Stalls the engine and skids the back wheels. Slickest trans to "Rock" the car back and forth in the mud, too.
