    my coworker's saab

i have a coworker with a 2001 saab 9-5 3.0L v6 (not that the engine matters in this case). she has a bad regulator on the driver's side window, and it's really hurting her ability to use a drivethrough . anyone know how tough it is to replace the regulator on one of these? i've done similar work on chevrolets, hondas, and a few others, and sometimes it's a real pain, like when you have to pull the scissor assembly out of a tiny hole in the door that doesn't look big enough to pull a grape. i haven't had a chance to look at this one, yet, but i'm hoping the design is more gm than euro.

and i know you're all wondering, but yeah, she's pretty dang hot .

Yeah, funny how that works. If she weren't good looking she would be taking her car to the local Saab dealer for sure.

Try this website: Don't know if it's the same as hers, but it's a start.

You know we are going to have to see pictures before we can really help you....of her, not the car.

Probably a pain in the ass....like most window regulators are.

Thanks, Itoldyouso, but i already gave that site a look before making my original post. if hers is as easy as the older model appears, no sweat. that's big gaping hole to work with.

her looks aren't what got me willing to help, but i won't insult anyone's intelligence, here, and say her appearance hurt her case. ha. to quote cartman, "she's hella-coo."

i'll suggest the backwards drivethrough option. i'm sure that will solve her problem. ha. actually, going back to looks, i'm not sure she's ever even seen fast food. fit. it's actually the entrance to our parking garage that gives her a hard time. we have to scan our access card on the way in.
