newbie looking for a leadsled replica.
I tried searching and didn't find anything, I'm looking for a place to find replica leadsled bodies. Pretty much any late 40's early 50's sedan. I hate to use the term kit car because I'm not wanting a kit, I want a body that can be mounted on a newer frame. I saw someone who put a 49 merc body on an `01 merc frame. Very nice looking project. I'm looking at doing something similar, but finding a donor body is next to impossible near where I live (2 hrs south of ATL) What few cars I find are either so far trashed they are useless or so expensive it's out of my price range.
P.S. this is my first post so if I did something wrong please take it easy on me. Thx.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
