Harbor Frieght sells the century brand and if not mistaken its american made. Friend at work has one and he says it works fine . Now i have the linc pak 100 myself and i have had it spider web the wire on occasion. I blame this on the flux core wire i get at Home Depot. It will take multi pass for thick but you can get a cheap stick for heavy jobs .
