    sooo i wanted Power Brakes

i grabbed the stock pedal assembly off of Large Marge(3800 series) & got under the truck to check some stuff out. low & behold the bolt holes of the pedal assembly were spaced the same as 2 of the transmission crossmember holes on the S10 frame so i used them for access holes & drilled some holes is the side & bolted it up. then i grabbed the 87 chevy pu 3/4ton brake booster & master cylinder i have & put it up against the pedal assembly & marked a spot to cut off. well after cutting on the pedal assembly & on some 3/8th plate i came up w/this...

    picture 3

    picture 4

    picture 5

    picture 6

here's shot w/the booster & MC on the pedal assembly.

7th & 8th Picture show the top plate & sides welded into place. the pedal assembly will bolt up to this. also look where the lower part of the pedal assembly hit the frame, on the bottom is where the access holes are to bolt it to the frame..
you'll also notice in this 8th Picture the shaft that the pedals ride on, i still have to run a gusset to it & weld it so the shaft doesnt move..

in the 9th and 10th Picture u'll see the power brake booster hanging down, i measure this & it's 1 1/2 inches good to go as far as i'm concerned &&&& in this last Picture u'll see there is enough clearance so the booster wont hit the floor.

other then some fine tuning these are the things that still need to be done....
the pedal arm needs to be made longer...
spacer needed for pedal arm on cross shaft...
clevis rod need to be made shorter..

then it's time to add some plumbing......joe
