    Heater core question ,89 suburban?

Well I am leaking anti freeze all over the inside of the cab.Anyone know if I need to get at from inside the truck ,or under the hood? It looks like it is in the truck ,but the housing has bolts coming from the engine compartment.I can not see the bolts in the engine compartment. It looks like I might have to remove the ac housing to get at it.Any done a heater core on a suburban before? Thanks

luckely I haven't done one yet. I own 2 I think it has to come out from the inside. You may want to invest in a chiltons manual from a parts store. I've never had one I could pull from the engine compartment.

Got my book and my parts .The book says to remove the heater housing from under the dash by removeing the entire glove box .Then to remove the computer attached behind that .Then to remove the bolts for the heater housing from the engine compartment ,like 5 total.2 are easily removed, 2 are hiden underneath the AC housing ,and the last one is behind the ac housing unit! So, that means the AC housing unit has to come off for one bolt,DAMN!

Parts to remove ,Glove box, computer, heater housing unit,ac houing unit.Pain in the rear.
