Ifs
Has anyone out there built their own tube a-ams, I am looking for ball joints for my IFS project?

I did. They're standard Mustang II bolt-in replacements. They aren't beautiful, but some button-head cap screws would have cleaned them up a bit. The car was full fendered anyhow.Jack

check out the stock car stuff in Speedway,they sell mopar style screw in ball joints,and weld in bungs to install them,Hank

What are some of the hub to hub dimensions that some of you IFS guys are running.

I am also about to do a tubular on my 56F100 but having to make my own clip as well but Jag based. See my thread re Ally fuel tank in this section.

I used screw-in balljoints and bungs from these guys.....
427 SC Cobra Replica, Cobra Kit Car, Cobra Kits
Then I overbuilt the control arms using 4130 1.125" o.d. X 0.188" wall. Next time I'll use 1.250" X 0.125" for the bottoms and 0.750" X 0.125" for the uppers. The thinner tubing on the upper arms will be aesthetically pleasing.Last edited by techinspector1; 01-01-2007 at 09:19 PM.
