whats the best way to hold the flywheel in place when removing a balancer?
Is there a special clamp or shove a screwdriver in there? whats the safest best way?

Impact gun......you dont have to lock anything. Same when removing alternator pulley nut.

thanx for the responses. A pair of vise grips will really hold that much torque when pulling a balancer? And thanx for both instances, I will be doing it on my own.

    thanx again,
