The tubes and collectors will be plenty long enough and either be ceramic coated or wrapped...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks Pat. I was thinking someplace between 10 and 15 inches from the flange to the step.... I know why step headers work the way they do, just trying to get dialed in on where the would work the best. Twelve inches must be about it. I've looked at a number of sets and they all seem to be right in that range....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Just put some BIG tubes on there and force the air though the engine with a huffer."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
"LIVE" your life like you could die tomorrow.

low backpressure can kill low end torque on some motors esp. small block / med H.P. big blocks less so , diesels LOVE no back pressure . Had one just used turbo as only back-pressure 3.5 to back - sucker ran great & about 15-20 degrees cooler. 34
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
