    Opel Gt

Need some info. In the process of building a pro street 69 opel gt. Has anyone built one. I am getting ready to put in interior as well as steering. Any ideas. Anyone got any pics. on the firewall. These cars had some room but not much on the inside. I am struggling with what seat to run.
This is my first post so this is also a hi to everyone. I have painted cars for 20 + years and have taught at a tech. center for 16 years and i love every minute of it. So hi and i hope to post from time to time.

    Welcome to the site.

I'm new at this rodding also . I'm learning that most is cut and weld till you like it . Sounds like you have a neat project going. There are a few building this type so watch the post's and maybe a idea or two will come to you.

I'm building a A and steering column placement is a issue also .

ive got a friend that has built 3, and it is a cut and weld fab when your happy if you are changing out the OEM motor for a V8. there is no set pattern for cramming a softball into a baseball skin, its just what you can get to fit where. he uses the jaz drag seats from jegs or summit in his. as far as the firewall i use a large single piece of cardboard and trim it to fit as a pattern, then transfer that to a final piece of sheet metal.

Welcome neighbor. I am in Halifax, about 60 miles South. If you can catch up with Mike in Rustburg, he can help you I betcha.
My nephew had one, sold it at Charlotte a couple of years ago. Had a SBC.
