There is some high buck insulation available these days to reduce sound & heat transfer. Some being just too expensive for the average budget.
Lets hear your ideas of lower cost materials.

The old standard is jute felt, available at upholstery supply shops.

Yea.....I've been using jute for 30 yrs. for noise control, however there seems to be other stuff on the market that's better for reducing heat transfer. It's is for use under jute & is expensive.

Looking for ideas that won't break the bank for my Brother's truck.

Do a search on ebay under auto insulation. Thats where I git mine Seems to work well and won't brake the bank.
