    Elminating Vent windows? 37 chevy

My father and I both have 37 chevy's. One coupe and one sedan. Both of us would like to get rid of the vent windows and go with a nice power window setup.

We have seen several cars done this way and would like info on how it was done or any complications?

    thanks

Because of the curve at the sill-you will have to put a piece of sheet metal bent at a 45 degree on the out side of the door. Then you'll have to blend it in to the door top or window bottom. The channels on the side can be made or sometimes you can doctor up what you have. Hope this helps, it is quite easy if you have a wire welder.

I just did this to my 1940 Ford coupe. I used Nu-relic kits[www.nu-relics.com] specificaly desinged to eliminate the vent windows. Nice set up. Before I bought the kit I emailed and ask them for installation info to be sure that it would do what I wanted. They were very nice and sent me detailed info. Joe
