    37 chevy pickup

     



    work continues at my shop K.A.R. race cars in alamosa on my "shop truck " project ......
    37 chevy pickup , tunnel ram 496" chevy , muncie ,narrowed dana 60 w/ 4:10s , 21.5 x 33 mickeys ........ I used an old drag race frame I built for a customer in 85' , the truck fit like it wanted to be there !
    next project is a bed and find a title ...
    anyone have a title for a 37 chevy pickup , of know where to get one ? THANKS , ratso

    Ratso Your 37 will have a lot bigger motor than my 37. It's looking good. I took an oprigional 37 frame and made a new one out of 2x4 metal and boxed it for added strength and it worked fine. You going with a full size bed or going to cut it down?

    thanks ! my next step is the bed ...there is only 23" between the tires and the bed will be 4' long ...... want to run my beerkeg fuel cell

    Going to look really nice when finished and will probably weigh in under 3,000 lbs. and with that engine should turn some great times.
